Entering assignee search criteria
There are two ways to focus your search on a specific patent assignee:
- (Recommended) Select one or more assignees or assignee groups from a list in the Select Assignees dialog box.
- Manually type one or more assignee names or assignee group names.
Assignee names can be specified individually, or as one or more assignee groups. You can save time and increase result accuracy by combining related assignee names into an assignee group, and then enter the assignee group name (rather that individual assignees) into your search and analysis criteria.
