WHAT'S NEW IN RELEASE 25.1

Version 25.1 of Goldfire by Accuris includes the following changes and enhancements:

  • GoldfireChat Improvements

  • Chat service can now be deployed On-Premise

  • Chat UI, stability, and performance improvements

  • Chat tabular response

  • Starting with the 25.1 release installation of the "ASP.NET Core 8.0 Hosting Bundle" is a pre-requisite of Goldfire Server deployment.

Version 12.9 of Goldfire by Accuris includes the following changes and enhancements:

  • S-API Extension

    Our Search API has been extended and now returns additional document citations.

    for each relevant sentence returned by Goldfire search.

  • Goldfire Chat LLM Integration

    Goldfire Chat is a new service which builds onto our extended search capabilities, using LLLM technology to handle user queries and provide responses in plain language with citations from content indexed in Goldfire.

  • S-API Extension Licensing

    Goldfire accounts can now license our Extended Search API capabilities.

  • S-API Extension Usage Reporting

    Goldfire account admins can now view analytics related to usage of their license to Extended Search API.

  • KB Security for S-API Extension

    Goldfire account admins can enable/disable inclusion of each Knowledge Base within Extended Search API calls.

  • Restricted document access set at KB level

    Goldfire account admins can set document access limits on the Knowledge Base level ensuring information about documents protected by DLS is not sent to the LLM for extended citation use.

  • Improvements to the following connections and integrations

    Teamcenter 14 support added, Teamcenter 11 is no longer supported

    SSL e-mail notifications

Version 12.8 of Goldfire by Accuris includes the following

  • Indexing DRM protected content in SDK based connectors

    Indexing DRM protected content has been extended to SDK based connectors in addition to network shares and SharePoint using the legacy out of the box connectors. A new Goldfire service GF Document Extractor has been added to handle DRM for SDK based connectors.

  • Azure certificate support for Active Directory access

    Azure certificate support for Active Directory access provides an alternate method for Goldfire to request access tokens to organizations that do not want to use application client secret. Previously Goldfire only supported client secrets.

  • Suppress all restricted documents and information from search results, filters, and lenses. Some Goldfire sources like PLM systems can only provide Document Level Security information after query results are retrieved. This required displaying some document names as This document cannot be displayed while still displaying related information from these documents in filters and lenses. In Goldfire 12.8 these documents and their related information can be completely suppressed from the results list, filters, and lenses to provide a better user experience and prevent information security leaks. Administrators can turn this on and make it the default behavior for all users and queries.

  • Improved Index Optimization time

  • Document Extractor, Indexing Manager Agent and Document Viewer services added to the Goldfire diagnostic checks

  • Additional notifications about lack of free disk space
