Saving or exporting cause-effect models

You can save your cause-effect model to the following:

  • My Data. You save items to a named collection of data in My Data. (A collection is like a folder that contains your saved items.) Anything you save to My Data is stored on the Goldfire Server.
  • A file on your hard drive, in any of the following formats:
    • CSV
    • Excel (.xlsx extension)
    • Microsoft Word (.docx extension)
    • PDF
  1. Click Save at the top of the Cause-Effect Model panel, and then click Save As.
  2. In the Save to My Data dialog box, select an existing collection, or add a new collection.
  3. Click Save.
  • Click Add annotation in the bottom-left of the dialog box and type a description which can be later searched using the My Data window.
  1. Click Save at the top of the Build Cause-Effect Model panel, and then click Export.
  2. In the Export Results dialog box, select one of the following file types:
    • CSV
    • Excel
    • Word
    • PDF
  3. Click Export.
  4. Follow the directions that your browser gives you for downloading data to a file.
